Mexican food and seafood at the top of the point next the lighthouse. Best view in town and a great place to take first time visitors. Head to the downtown port area, but head up the hill

toward the lighthouse.

The Friendly Dolphin (Delfin Amigable) offers authentic Mexican cuisine with a unique twist.  Many dishes feature a special sauce ('Laffarga') created by the restaurant's owner.  Another dish to try is the Pesca Reposado. Rave reviews for this very un-fishy, tender dish.

Location: on the Avenida Benito Juarez, you will see a sign on the way into downtown Rocky Point to take a left up the hill before you enter the central area. The restaurant is on the left after you pass two cross streets.  

Pollo Lucas is an outdoor grilled chicken restaurant where the purveyors prepare fresh tortillas, charbroiled chicken, beans, and rice as you relax at your table. Don't let its appearance fool you - this is one of the most popular restaurants in town.

Location: If coming from the house, take a right on Benito Juarez from Blvd. Freemont. You will be heading away from the downtown area, and the restaurant will be on your left. 

A German breakfast eatery in the middle of Mexico?  Only in Rocky Point. Kaffehaus features everything from apple struedel to traditional chorizo.  Location: Avenida Benito Juarez, before entering the downtown area on the left-hand side (opposite the bay).

 Mary's Seafood is positioned conveniently off the ocean with an open patio for a spectacular view. The seafood is the best. Fish tacos both grilled and battered, shrimp tacos, and ceviche! All fresh and  tasty. Another plus is this is a pet friendly location.

Location: Mary's is located in the downtown port area with a view of the ocean.

You can't miss it as you take a left turn once you enter the downtown area.

Max's serves up great Mexican and America food. Try the Trash Can Burrito in the morning and have one of their famous Bloody Mary's.

Location: in Plaza La Marina Paseo las Glorias and across from the Penasco Del Sol Hotel. Off the main drag go down Calle 13 all the way to the end toward the water and you will see the hotel. Max's sits opposite in small strip mall.
