About Los Conchas

Located on the beautiful Los Conchas Beach, Playa Vida is within walking distance of one of the country's most beautiful Riparian Reserves.

Majestic Osprey soar above the shore and raise chicks on giant nests perched on the telephone poles on the road outside Playa Vida.

Cranes, pelicans, seagulls, and other birds can be seen seasonally on the beach and sea. Dolphins frolic right outside your back door!

If the fish are close, they swim in, careful - they are a bit leery of human visitors. Sea lions also visit from time to time, often swimming like very slow dolphins.

Brittle stars, sea stars, crabs (blue and rock), and myriads of fish and sponge abound in the rocky lava strips revealed during low tide outside Playa Vida's back door.

Sand shoes protect your feet from the rocks as you take your family to see marine life up close as you've never seen it before.

An occasional purple octopus will be hunting for food - harmless to humans and breathtakingly beautiful. Sand strips between the rocks make for comfortable swimming 3/4 of the year. For those who can handle the tropical cold, sea swimming can be enjoyed year 'round.

Los Conchas is conveniently located only five to seven minutes away from any portion of Rocky Point, from the downtown area to the town's 'Rodeo Drive'.

Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main town and atmospheric lights, the sky drips with stars at night. No ATVs (except for the security guards')

or other vehicles are allowed on the beach to protect it as well as visitors. Las Mareas is a gated community staffed with security guards

who check every car entering and exiting the area.

Our family vacation was the best we've ever had thanks to this amazing beach home. Spacious and lovely doesn't even do it justice. The house is set up perfectly for a large group environment with everyone in their own beautiful bedroom, plus plenty of bathrooms to go along with that. The patio is another extension of the great amenity of family space for dining and relaxation. With only a short walk to the ocean, this house can't be beat!

Our child loved her own sandbar and the 80 degree water temperature was appreciated by all. We can't wait to return next year and make this our annual family trip. The memories and enjoyment of it are priceless!!!

The perfect place for our recent mother-daughter getaway! Big, luxurious rooms with fantastic ocean views. A clean, well-stocked kitchen and gorgeous ocean-front patio that made dining easy and extra special. We loved the beautiful, surprisingly uncrowded beach...great for snorkeling, shell collecting, sun bathing, and wildlife watching. Playa Vida far exceeded our expectations. !Magnifico!

Wow! We have been going to Mexico once a year for over 10 years and have stayed at some nice places. But this beautiful home was the best! The size made it perfect for our large family. We traveled with 4 adults and 5 children and never felt crowded. I love to cook and we bring all our own food, so we could really appreciate the beautiful kitchen and the full-sized refrigerator. My husband and son caught fish which we grilled on the new BBQ (it was better than mine at home). We loved waking up in the morning and reading on the patio, listening to the ocean and watching for dolphins.

It was nice to have comfortable furniture on the patio, including a table which we used to play scrabble and dominos. The master bedroom was the most luxurious, with it's four-poster bed, beautifully tiled bathroom and french doors to the patio. We never go to Mexico during the summer because it is usually too hot. Staying at a place with air conditioning was certainly a plus! I highly recommend this house to anyone planning to visit Rocky Point.
